Civil Defence Auxiliary Member (CDA)
Based on Act 221 of the Malaysian Civil Defense Force Act 1951, the Malaysian Civil Defense Force has three main components which are Regular Members (Permanent Officers), Volunteer Members of the Force (Volunteers) and Auxiliary Members of the Force
Establishment of Civil Defense Auxiliary Member (CDA)
The creation of Civil Defense Auxiliary Member (CDA) can reveal and further empower the Auxiliary Member element by providing a platform to any competent organization regardless of whether it is a government body or non-government body including any competent individual to serve and be devoted to the country through training assistance, expert assistance and various assistance to APM or to any entity or people in need according to APM as a public preparedness agency, disaster management and national emergency services.
CDA’s three (3) main aid scopes are:

CDA management is made up of 12 fractional Clusters that focus on certain specific assistance matters and expertise as follows:
Civil Defense Auxiliary Member (CDA) Registration Application
CDA registration must be through the Civil Defense District Office (PDPA) / State Civil Defense Office (PNPA).
